• Right to Own and Dispose of Property: Article 16(1) of the Namibian Constitution protects the right of all persons to acquire, own, and dispose of property, including land and buildings. 
• Right of Ownership: This includes the right to possess, use, and transfer the property. 
• Right to Use and Enjoy: Homeowners can use and enjoy their property within legal constraints, including local zoning laws and regulations. 
• Right to Exclude: Owners have the right to control who can and cannot enter their property. 
• Transfer of Ownership: Property can be transferred through sale, gift, or inheritance, with legal mechanisms in place to ensure a smooth and legitimate transfer. 
• Lease and Tenancy Agreements: These agreements define the rights and responsibilities of landlords and tenants, including payment of rent and the terms of occupancy.
